Research Interests
In 1995, Lee started CMU's Bone Tissue Engineering Intitiative that involved into, what is now, the Bone Tissue Engineering Center. Lee's current research interests include solid freeform fabrication of scaffolds, bio-MEMS, and computer-aided-orthopedic surgery. He was a founding member of the Robotics Institute, an asscociate editor of the journal Tissue Engineering, and has 24 U.S. patents.
